San Diego Institute of Technology (SDIT)
San Diego Institute of Technology (SDIT) is committed to transparency, student protection, and compliance with California law. The following policies apply to all SDIT certificate programs and are provided for prospective and enrolled students.
⸻
1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Right to Cancel
A student may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid if cancellation occurs within seven (7) calendar days after signing the enrollment agreement or through attendance at the first instructional session, whichever is later.
Withdrawal After Instruction Has Begun
Students who withdraw after the cancellation period has ended are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the portion of the program not received. Refund calculations are based on the number of instructional days or hours completed relative to the total program length, in accordance with California law.
Non-Refundable Charges
A non-refundable application fee (not to exceed $250) may be retained if disclosed in the Enrollment Agreement. Charges for books, materials, or third-party services may be non-refundable if already provided.
Refund Timeline
All refunds will be issued within forty-five (45) calendar days of the effective date of cancellation or withdrawal.
